 | Extruded
It is a process of forcing an aluminum rod into a die mold under high temperatures, creating aluminum section material. Aluminum extrusion is widely used in various ranges due to its unique physical characteristics; it provides the product with strength, ductility, and conductivity. It is a cost-effective, low-performance loss, and widely adopted solution.

 

 
 

 | Cold forged  
Cold forged is a process that forms under high pressure and at room temperature. Forging heat sinks offer accurate dimension, strong surface, reliable structure, and flexibility of a high aspect ratio for any fin type. Materials can be aluminum or copper. Cold forged heat sinks have better mechanical properties, higher yields, and optimized material utilization.

 

 
 

 | Stacked 
Stacked heat sink is formed by using a high pressure to connect a single fin, multiple fins, or a single extrusion into one heat sink.
Subject to the thermal performance request, fins are designed to have a special structure to be extended with flexibility in width.

 | Skived 
Carving out of a single block of metal to make an array of fine fins in specific shapes and dimensions. Integrated base and fin structure minimize thermal cost in-between and enhance thermal conductivity as well as a lower development.

 

 
 

 
 Composited
To achieve higher flux or improve the volume limitation, the heat sink is consisting of different materials and special processes that might use riveting, soldering brazing, bonding, and more.
 
 

 
 Liquid Cooling
The liquid channel is formed on the plate and embedded with tubes, drilling, micro-channel processing, double-layer welding, etc. The heat is carried away through the liquid flow and dissipated rapidly.
