Fan performance is essential in thermal related products. Modifying electrical function is commonly applied which we have introduced in last year’s edition. Today we will focus on mechanical sections which include impeller, frame and LED lights.
Fan Impeller
Ø The number of blades in impeller
The number of blades in impeller will result in a contrary outcome in airflow and static pressure even if the fan is designed for the same dimension, speed, radian and profile. More blades generate more airflow but less air pressure. On the contrary, fewer blades tend to have higher air pressure and noise due to more air circulating space.
Ø The profile of blades in impeller
The profile of the blade is a key factor to impeller’s efficiency and the best showcase for creative design. Narrow blade boosts higher rotation speed and is noisier. Instead, wide blade is designed for noise reduction with lower speed.
Zaward’s GOLF FAN combines both functions and esthetics. The dimple-surfaced impeller reduces air resistance and turbulence, resulting in extremely quiet operation whilst raising airflow volume. In comparison with conventional fans, show an improved airflow and low sound at the same rotating speed.
