IP Code / Rating
The IP code, also names as Ingress protection rating, consists of two digits following by IP letters.
First digit: Solid particle protection
It indicates the ability of the product enclosure to protect internal components (such as electronic and mechanical parts) and to prevent the entry of outside objects.
Second digit: Liquid ingress protection
It indicates the ability of the device housing to withstand the penetration of liquid.
