Vapor chamber is a plate with vacuum wick structure, filled with working fluid. The operation theory is identical to the heat pipe. The difference between these two structures is the heat transmission; heat pipe is in one direction linearly, and vapor chamber is in two directions in planar, therefore the conductivity is superior to heat pipes.
To compare with traditional solid heat sink, vapor chamber is with better performance lighter and reduced height. By adopting vapor chamber, the thermal resistance is much lower and it enables heat component and heat density at appropriate operating temperature. Therefore, the lifetime of components and products can be extended.

Advantages of vapor chamber:

  • Maximum of dimension could reach 400 x 400 mm, thickness from 3.0 mm to 4.2 mm
  • No restriction of shape
  • Holes drilling is achievable
  • Customized flatness could reach from 50 to 100 μm
  • Further processing like soldered fins on vapor chamber is also achievable
  • Strict tests with professional laboratory equipment after product finished, e.g. leakage test
  • Flexible and reliable product design according to customer’s requirement on cost and performance
