Get sustainable, ceramic heat sink
Research has shown that using high temperatures many agricultural wastes, which are considered valueless, can be transformed into high-value silicon carbide (SiC) consisting of nanostructures and nanorods in various polytypes. Ceramic heat sink, made of silicon carbide, offers supreme thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, and lightweight, combining efficiency and sustainability in one.
Sintering is the process of making ceramic heat sink, through compacting and forming a solid mass of material at high temperature or pressure. It effectively reduces the porosity and enhances properties such as strength, electrical conductivity, translucency and thermal conductivity. Ceramic heat sink, compared to traditional aluminum or copper solutions, has larger surface area generated by the porous structure and higher level of thermal radiation.

Bend strength is a significant feature of the ceramic heat sink as it can resist compressive stress and remain the shape. No electromagnetic disturbance and interference due to the non-metallic crystal structure. Ceramic is light-weighted, about 30% lighter than aluminum. Other features like waterproof, corrosion-resistant enable it directly exposed to the rough ambiance and cooling systems. A simplified structure has a direct bond between heat-source and heat sink create superior thermal conductivity and electric insulation feature increases components’ life and stability in the entire assembly.
