The age of the heat pipe is upon us. Ever since it broke onto the scene, cooling devices of every style and shape have emerged, some of which seem to defy logic. It is assured to us then that the age of the aluminum block cooler is long gone, hopefully never to be seen again. The engineers at Zaward are something like a modern-day Leonardo da Vinci, because they have taken to a unique style of functional cooling devices. One of their featured products is the Sylphee aluminum CPU cooler. Benchmark Reviews tested this dual-heat pipe dual-impeller cooler, and it proved to be a very unique product, with results just as uncommon. Zaward Sylphee Thermo Control Dual Heatpipe2011.01.18Bereits im Sommer diesen Jahres hatten wir das Beta-Sample des Verax Polargate by Zaward Dual-Heatpipe Modells antesten können. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten wir bereits Informationen, dass Verax dieses Modell nicht mehr in eigener Regie produzieren lassen würde, sondern Zaward wohl die Rechte an diesem Model erwerben wird. So kam es nun auch, dass der Zaward Sylphee keine Verax Schriftzüge mehr aufweist. Die Verarbeitung wurde nochmals verfeinert und die Verax-spezifischen dB Cair Lüfter sind bei diesem Modell ganz in Weiß ausgeführt. Diese Lüfter werden nun offensichtlich von Globe Fan gefertigt, welche in direktem Firmenverbund mit Zaward stehen. more > |

Zaward existe depuis 1996, et ses produits n’étaient tout simplement pas encore disponibles chez nous. Mais depuis peu, on peut faire l’acquisition de ventirads Zaward en France, et nous avons décidé de nous attarder sur l’un d’entre eux, à savoir le Sylphee, un ventirad à la forme étrange, qui comprend deux ventilateurs et qui fait appel à la technologie heatpipe. more > |

Instead of one fan blowing across the fins, this packs two. That coupled with a fully aluminium chassis should make for interesting testing. more > |

Bereits der erste Blick auf das ungewöhnliche Modell namens Sylphee weckt Erinnerungen: Die weißen Lüfter erinnern sehr an Verax, mehr noch der Kühler sieht exakt so aus, wie das Modell Verax Polargate Heatpipe. Dennoch findet sich auf unserem Testmuster kein Hinweis auf Verax und die Lüfter stammen von GlobeFan. more > |
