Cold Forged Heat Sink
Cold Forged Heat Sink
Cold Forging is a process which forms under high pressure and in room temperature, with one single punch, the three–dimensional heat sink emerges. It generates no heat or energy loss, minifies secondary process and reduces material loss.
Forging heat sinks offer accurate dimension, strong surface and reliable structure and flexibility of a high aspect ratio for any fin type. Materials can be aluminum or copper.
Advantages:
- Highly compact curved fins maximize surface area
- Material can be formed in multiple dimensions
- Round Pins, holes and standoffs formed in the tool in a single operation
- Round Shapes (ideally suited for LED Cooling)
- Eco-friendly due to no heating up process in production.
